“The Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!” Isaiah 30:18
If the justice of God could be visualized, even personified, what would you imagine it to look like? I wanted to capture the beauty, yet the wild strength that I imagined would be a part of the justice of God. Justice is holding a palantir (a seeing ball from the Lord of the Rings), for she sees all that God sees. Her sword represents the verse:
“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.” Hebrews 4:12
