“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” Matthew 5:6
The dictionary defines righteousness: “Morally upright; without guilt or sin”. As Christians, this should be how we want to live our lives. But, the Bible says that all our righteous acts are like filthy rags! How then can I live a righteous life without sin? The key is Jesus Christ and the power of the cross; living in Jesus, and Jesus living in me.
“Even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17
